In this convicting sermon, evangelist Bruce Roebuck challenges us with several questions: Is the house of God (the Church of Christ) in ruins because of our neglect? Has our attention to our jobs and homes deprived the people of God of our time? Or perhaps is the church suffering because we have spent our time developing a subversive new hermeneutic?
Brother Roebuck says: “Seems like every few years there is some new hermeneutic that comes down the pike that tells us that we have been all wet, we have been all wrong! While we have had great preachers in the past…they didn’t actually understand the Bible like we understand it today and that we aren’t studying the Bible right.”
Bruce goes on to teach that the problem is not with God, the inadequacy is not with the scripture, the error is with man. Let us not forsake the precious church of our Lord! May God bless His people.
