In this wonderful sermon from evangelist Ronny Wade we learn that the Lord’s church is a house of life, a house of worship, a house of fellowship, a house of service, and a house of joy. Here is an excerpt:
“When we serve other people we forget about ourselves. When we serve other people we don’t have time to worry about ourselves. The more you try to help someone else the more you are going to help yourself. We serve other people by visiting, by writing letters, by cards, by phone calls and by menial tasks. In so doing we can come to learn and love and enjoy the benefits of serving other people. I tell you, I believe we can create a revolution in every congregation if people would stop worrying about what people do for me and be concerned about what they can do for someone else.”
