Are There Degrees of Reward and Punishment?
The message of the New Testament teaches there will be eternal reward for the saved and everlasting punishment for the lost (Matthew 25:31-46). Additionally, there are a number of verses in the Bible which seem to indicate there will be varying degrees of honor and penalty. This has led to some bizarre speculations, making it important to step back and examine all the Scriptures have to offer on this subject.
