God Will Provide Himself A Lamb


In one of the most stunning events of the Old Testament, Abraham’s great faith was tested when God asked him to offer his son as a sacrifice. Abraham was a man who so trusted the Lord that even while he and Isaac made their way up the mountain, he said to his inquisitive boy, “my son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering” (Genesis 22:8).
